I certainly believe that the price of NX10 (or NX5) would be much
cheaper than what it was in S.Korea. I don’t know how SANSUNG thinks
about S.Korean consumers, they have been making excessive profits on

Also various Samsung accessories are marked to bee compatible with NX5/NX10/EX1 so this seems very legit. I guess this body will be smaller than NX10? So it would be competing with E-PL1 and GF-1.

Will, the same as GF1.

Samsung have a good 3.5″ 1.2M dots LCD and the Canon 3″ 1.1M LCD is from Samsung.
But, is most probably this 3″ 280K

A third-hand rumor:

“I also saw a rumour a while back which rather suggested that the NX-5 would lose the viewfinder/flash hump of the NX-10, making it a clear rival to the GF1 and a very appealing proposition.”

if THAT is the case — no hump, no eyepiece — then the NX-5 may do VERY well. It would essentially be a camera the size of a micro4/3rds, but without the little sensor of the micro4/3rds.

Still… that AMOLED screen is beautiful… maybe an NX-15 can “dump the hump” but retain the AMOLED screen!

But the AMOLED screen is pretty much the only reason to get an NX instead of any other entry-level DSLR. Without it, I’m not sure what the point is.

And how is it that the NX-5 gets a US price point when we still don’t know what the NX-10 will cost in the US?
