First report over the K7 made by a photographer!

Mr Smith (not his real name) reported for pentaxforums following impressions (summary):

1) Better noise performance by far, but it seemed too buttery, like it was heavily processed.

2) If the video I saw was the real quality of the camera, then it is worth buying for this alone.

3) It was not that small in my hands

4) I learned that it is far more waterproof, like you can drop it entirely in water with no problem.

5) The material of the K-7 didn’t feel like metal to me.

6) I learned that (with current firmware) the camera would not output live video feed through the HDMI port.

Many companies like Samsung Nikon Canon and Sony are working on mirrorless camera systems so it comes with no surprise that Pentax will join the adventure

AmateurPhotographer reported that the previously rumored Samsung GX30 will not be released (at least for now) because Samsung is concentrating on the NX series.
