First pictures of the Pentax NC-1 system!
And here it is the new Pentax NC-1 mirrorless system camera. It will come in different colors (Black, Silver and White) and three new lenses. Two lenses will be announced along the camera in May and a third lenses will be released 2-3 months after. It has a small 1/2,33″ sensor with 14 Megapixels.
The other good news is that there will be also a second APS-C sensor mirrorless system. That will be announced in late summer!
Pentax will be the first company to offer two different mirrorless system. What a surprise!

11 months ago |I’m not thrilled with this news… Unless they improve video capabilities without sacrificing low-light performance…Only way I see that happening is with the K-5′s sensor in lower-end mirrorless cameras.

At any rate, for some reason today I actually got excited about this system… Don’t ask me why as I can’t really explain it! I just hope they aren’t as hideously expensive is has been rumored, but if it was cheap enough I would definitely get one.
The possibilities for lenses for this thing are even greater than m43s, I am thinking some super fast C-Mount Zooms think f1.2 in a say roughly 100-550 (equiv) range.
