Korea Times quoted Park Sang-jin (president of Samsung’s digital imaging division) saying “As the issue with 3D televisions is providing a glass-free viewer experience, 3D cameras has a similar challenge for achieving a one-lens, one-imaging sensor approach. The two-lens, two-sensor 3D camera released by Fuji is still too expensive and inconvenient for users.” and “the company may produce a camera capable of taking three-dimensional (3D) images sometime next year“.

Here it is the new Samsung NX100 with the new 20-50mm f/3.5-5.6 lens. It features the same NX10 sensor (14.6 Megapixels), a 3inch Amoled screen, it has an optional external electronic viewfinder, ISO 100-6400, 3fps, sound picture (you can record 10sec sound with a picture), 720/30p video and it has an optional GPS module. The camera comes in Black, White or Brown!

No company can (or want?) keep secrets anymore. Everything is leaking here an there. The picture above has been posted on dpreview forum. And the picture below has been found by Photorumors on idealo.de. At leats we know now the price of the NX100 (599 Euro with the 20-50mm lens!)

Samsung will announce a new camcorder in few hours. There were rumors about a NX-mount camcorder so maybe this will be the first NX-camcorder…

One of our sources and readers made a low reolution size comparison of the two lenses based on the 20-50mm size he knows. The 20-50mm is very compact compared to the actual 18-55mm lens!

Finally Photoscala revealed the truth. The Samsung-Alpa-Schneider medium format deal is FAKE. Nobody knows who created the fake rumor and why…(would be interesting to know it!)

Samsung announced a white NX10 model which will be available in Korea only

• The white camera has the new compact zoom kit.
• The new cameras has the same design as the Samsung HZ30W.
